My last show of 2015 turned out to be my second-highest show in sales, ever!  Even though some customers complained that they had already done most of their holiday shopping during Black Friday sales, plenty more customers were holiday shopping as well as shopping for baby and housewarming gifts!  Foot traffic seemed a bit slow, but it was definitely steady all day.

My first order came from the organizer.  She must have been waiting for me to arrive because she placed her order (one of my baby beanie hats with a chosen crochet flower to be sewn on) as soon as I got to my table!  At 7am! 

When I packed up at the end of the day I had five custom orders to complete over the weekend and I couldn't wait to get started!  Custom orders always get me excited because it means I get to create something especially for the customer, to his or her specific desires - which is my favorite part of crafting!

I'm excited to apply for this show next year.  Hopefully it'll have better foot traffic then.

Vendors: Do you find fundraiser shows to be better around the holidays? 

Shoppers: Do you prefer to shop fundraiser shows or regular craft shows?  Do you like to shop handmade around the holidays or only during summer festivals?
