Speaking of going through old pictures, how's this one for being over a year old?  A few years ago I went to a spa for my Mother's birthday (along with my sister).  The atmosphere was so soothing & calm that I just wanted to take it home with me & relax in it.  It was the first time I really fell in love with the blue/brown combination.

So I made a blue/brown version of the Watermelon Purse.

And then I tried the "varied stripe length" idea on the scarf version.  I really fell in love with this look after making this scarf.

I don't remember why, but I wanted a matching headband for some outfit at the time, so I crocheted this little, tie-behind-the-head, headband.

Funny thing is, I still enjoy wearing/using all three items!  And you'd think I'd grow tired of them so quickly, made on a whim; when those are really the items that seem to stick with me the most!
