A Sale at Put-in-Bay & Email News

Last weekend we visited Put-in-Bay, Ohio for the first time and it was also our first time ever leaving our daughter overnight - though she was in good hands with my mother-in-law.

One of the many highlights of the weekend was a "sale in the wild" aka - I was knitting up a new design (boot cuffs are coming to Knittedhome!) and one lady struck up a conversation to mention her interest in my current product.  After a short conversation, I offered to sell them to her and mail them out come Monday.  To my great joy she agreed and paid me cash on the spot!  This validation through sales is always one of the best "highs" in the entrepreneurial life.  And it is what keeps me creating more.

This weekend was nice and slow, with no commitments, so we could be together as a family and work on the home construction a bit more.

I've also been developing a monthly shop update for all my email subscribers.  I'm loving the way it is turning out and I can't wait to hear how others like it.  I'm trying something new for me, by focusing on the wearing, styling, and decorating with knit & crochet accessories.  Each issue will go out at the beginning of the month.  If you're interested, you can sign up through the button below.

This is also the week that my first email series Weekly Knit Stitches will begin.  If you haven't signed up, make sure you follow the link before the first email goes out at the end of the week.
