Good *Coffee* Morning!

Check out my new coaster; I got an itch to try something new since my knitting needles were being held up by my recent dishcloth craze (but ran out of yarn on the go) so on Monday I tried crocheting little round coasters in between editing (@ work). I couldn't believe how quickly they whip up! I had 2 sets of 4 completed that evening.

^ This one is part of my third set that I started yesterday while dogsitting. Look for them soon in the shop. :)

Good Morning

Happy Monday to everyone.  I've got my coffee for the morning & I thought I'd add a glimpse of what I've been working on this weekend.

Have a great day, everyone.

Featured Artist!

I made it into my Second Treasury!  Check it out here.  Who knew others were thinking Red, White & Blue already, too?

This is the other List I was featured in back in early February:

Yay!  Keep 'em coming.  I love seeing what others group my items with, don't you?

Another Pile of Spring

Who knew I was hoarding so many dishcloth sets?  I guess I should look at my messy picture better ;)

So I finally got around to listing a few sets:
Multicolored Summer Dishcloths

The *Cooler* Multicolored Summer Dishcloths (they have more blue in them)

And in case anyone has started thinking (or dreaming) about summer holidays yet....

July 4th
I'm also working on a set of matching [scratch] set for my friend who's getting married next month.  I'll have pictures to post later.

Another Alternative Interface from Which to Update

Guess what new way I found to update the blog *today*? That's right... the Playstation 3. My desktop decided to quit randomly today and even after repairing permissions it won't start up properly. :( So to the Mac store with my harddrive I go.... sometime this week.

Looks like I'll be getting that Macbook a few months sooner than planned..... if possible (depends on my & the sales associate's agreement since we had origianly agreed to June)... So we'll see. At least I have a computer at work 3 days a week that I can work from. Maybe I'll end up being MORE productive at home because I won't have a computer to spend mindless hours on. ... Hmm, so much to think about.

How is your weekend shaping up?

Socks in Progress

Yay!  Finally finished the first sock earlier this week, I think it was Tuesday afternoon & immediately started the second sock.  Here is its progress so far ...
Tuesday night

Wednesday night

Unfortunately, I realized Wednesday evening (after this last picture) that I hadn't made the ribbed, top part of the sock long enough to match the first sock :(  So I had to wrip it out (nearly everything I had done save for an inch of work) late Wednesday night.  Happily, it is knitting up quickly and I should be at the heel turn by Thursday or Friday evening! :)  Then its off to their new home!

Back to the Sock(s)

So I left off after the heel turn, and ran into a speed-bump once I came to the toe.  Thus why I haven't updated about their completion yet. .... Because I'm still working on that, hehe.

Where the "speed bump" left me.

I still think these are going to be too big.  They are definitely big on me, but then again, my size varies from a size 7.5 to 9 (depending on the store & the brand).  So I just keep hoping I'm wrong & these'll be perfect for house slipper-socks if nothing else.  What do you think, Tess?
