Wednesdays are usually reserved for shop happenings, new designs, current projects, and craft show reviews. I like to call them reviews because they are my notes of how the show went, number of sales, and any other fun tid bits I like to share.
This month was gorgeous weather and I think it ultimately helped bring more people downtown.
EJ was definitely in better spirits which helped set up go much quicker (30 minutes! My best yet!) Though not having winter items to haul or set up also helped. ;)
It seems foot traffic has been slow to pick up every month. Even other vendors have noticed this trend.
A new mom-friend of mine saved the day when she + her daughter (EJ's age!) came out to visit us on a whim. She is such a positive + happy person, I love the positive energy she brings!
My cousin and awesome one-day promoter stopped by as well. He saw this beautiful image on the morning news and even asked that they mention Knittedhome on their next broadcast! I don't know if they ever did, but it sure made my heart swell knowing he was so proud of me!
Because Niki + Ellen couldn't make it this month, it was a little empty in our usual spot. But it gave me the opportunity to meet Kate, a leather purse maker specializing in upcycled materials.
Overall we had 3 sales - 2 ear warmers + 1 headband + 1 custom beanie + a new small business friend, Kate. It sure was a great night to reflect on. :)
The next Art Walk is set for August 20. If you're local or visiting the area, I hope you'll stop by! What are your favorite summer shows? I'd love to hear all about it in the comments below! Be sure to click "subscribe via email" to receive comment reply notifications.
